About Dream Pathways Afterschool & Summer Camp Program
Dream Pathways CAMP (Children Achieving A Mighty Purpose) is designed to reduce teen pregnancy, teen criminal activity, and drug use. It fosters a safe and welcoming environment conducive to positive social learning and interaction, and motivates youth to pursue their dreams through a strong support system of peer advisors, mentors, and counselors. Birthed out of the founder's own firsthand experience with common issues teens face, the core values of Dream Pathways embodies the following principles: (1) SELF-RESPECT (2) RESPONSIBILITY (3) INTEGRITY & (4) GOAL-SETTING, just to name a few. The initiative will launch locally in the ladder part of 2011 with a nationwide plan of replicating amongst various rural and urban areas throughout the US.
Although this initiative is a vision God gave Danielle several years ago, she is still positive that it will be a great success today, as it is a much needed intervention/prevention program within communities plagued with high volumes of the things aforementioned. More info about this project will be posted periodically via Facebook as the founder works to plan & develop it. A couple things Danielle foresees as needed attributions to this type of initiative are volunteers, counselors, project managers, financial managers, sponsors, and the overall support of the community itself. "I need people who are as much invested in the future of our youth as I am and I am believing in God to send and direct me to those people in DUE time," the founder of Dream Pathways humbly states.
